Will Sam agree? Cain Dingle has told Sam there’s something that can be done if he wants to get rid of rapist Craig for good in Emmerdale. During last week’s Super Soap Week, Lydia finally sat down and told Sam, Mandy and Belle that she was raped by Craig. She then made her way to the police station to make a statement, which resulted in Craig getting arrested.
An angry and frustrated Sam felt that he should be doing more than ‘sitting here’. He believed that because he didn’t spot Craig’s sinister behaviour and due to the way he’s reacted to Lydia’s rape, he is now ‘less of a man’. Lydia has also been supported by Rhona Cain reminded Sam of the importance that comes with moving on from past events and focusing on the present – but Sam said he can’t think about letting it go because of the impact it’s having on him and his marriage.
