Nicky discovered Suni’s secret Suni Sharma is grappling with a terrible secret in Emmerdale – the knowledge that his father, Amit was responsible for the death of his uncle Rishi . This revelation came soon after Suni had discovered that Amit is also the father of Jai , who’d been brought up by Rishi and believed Rishi to be his father. As soon as Amit set foot in Rishi’s former house, Holdgate, it was clear it wasn’t the first time he’d set foot there and he suffered a panic attack.
‘I want to,’ Suni said, obviously not entirely on Team Amit at this point. Nicky wanted to know why Amit had kept it to himself. ‘You do realise how bad that looks,’ he pointed out. Suni insisted that Amit wouldn’t be capable of hurting anybody and had just panicked. ‘What, and then he lied?’ Nicky said. He obviously thought the whole thing looked entirely suspicious.
