The Amelia Spencer star said it was daunting as she now looks ahead to her future away from the Yorkshire village
Daisy Campbell said she 'needed time to grieve' as she revealed she has been axed from Emmerdale . The soap star is renowned for her role as Amelia Spencer in the fictional Yorkshire village. The 21-year-old joined the cast 13 years ago and has been a mainstay of the show ever since. However, her time on the show will soon come to an end as she was told in May that she was being written out of the show.
However, she confided with her co-star friends, Rosie Bentham, Katie Hill, and Jack Downham , who were upset that she was being written out. She added: 'They were upset for me but so supportive. 'I didn’t tell the rest of the cast my news initially as I wanted the time to process everything. I needed time to grieve the part of Amelia. 'I had worried so much about how I was going to tell people I was going and now I know I shouldn’t have! They were all brilliant.
