He has shared his own depression battle
Emmerdale viewers rushed to support actor Danny Miller after he opened up about his own battle with depression following a special male-only episode of the soap, which focussed on mental health.
Danny said: "I just HAD to tweet this. I’ve just caught up with @emmerdale male only, mental health episode and I cried like a little boy. Brought back so many emotions for me during my battle with depression. All of the boys were incredible in it. As was the directing and writing.
During Friday evening’s episode of Emmerdale viewers saw some of the men from the village stay behind in The Woolpack for a lock-in. It was the first time the ITV soap has attempted an episode of such a nature. Where to get mental health help in 2023 Fans rushed to offer their support to Danny following his post on Sunday, with many saying how they would like to see his character return to support his step-dad Paddy.
