A tragic storyline in Emmerdale saw Rishi Sharma die in a tragic turn of events on the day of his son Jai's wedding to Laurel.
However, in tonight's episode, Jai received much-needed closure when it was confirmed his father's heart condition did not contribute to his death.Following the revelation, Jai began working on providing his late father with "the best sendoff" imaginable and organised for him to be cremated in India. Laurel cautioned him to take time to process his grief.@RyanTheSoapKing wrote: "Such a shame that Rishi couldn't have his funeral in the village.
