Emmerdale viewers were in tears
During the episode, vieweres saw some of the men stay behind in The Woolpack for a lock-in. This was the first time the ITV soap has done an all-male episode.
Viewers took to social media to praise the storyline, with many speaking out about how important Friday's show was to them. Some went as far as saying it was the soap's best ever episode. Betty thanked the production team, saying: "Thank you Emmerdale, great episode, you absolutely nailed it. Well done to the male cast, you portraided it beautifully."
