Two Emmerdale characters left the village in Friday's emotional episode of the ITV soap – as one star also made a return appearance.

Amelia Spencer and daughter Esther have waved goodbye to the Dales for good, as Emmerdale aired a double exit on Friday. But the pair’s final episode also featured a surprise for fans of the ITV soap, as Daz Spencer made a return.
At Wishing Well, the two women looked to the future, now being able to start the rest of their lives. Back in the village, Kerry Wyatt was stunned to see Amelia’s dad Daz hanging around, having last been seen in the Dales five years ago. Daz made a surprise return to pick up Amelia Amelia then told a devastated Kerry, Lydia Dingle and Sam Dingle that she planned to move to Lecister later that day to live with Daz, and would be taking daughter Esther with her.
