An employee at a farm in western Massachusetts was found dead by search crews on Monday.

State police divers found the body of the missing man inside a pickup truck in which he was last seen Sunday night. The pickup was submerged in about eight feet of water in a retention pond. The man's name has not been released, but state police said he was a 21-year-old Mexican citizen who was employed as a harvester at Pine Island Farm in Sheffield. He also lived at the farm.
The submerged truck had been spotted in the retention pond by a state police Air Wing helicopter crew earlier Monday morning after tire tracks had been found leading into the pond. Divers dealt with near-zero visibility in the 14-foot-deep pond to recovery the man's body.Police said there were no immediate signs to indicate that the man's death was suspicious. An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause and manner of his death.
