Latest Liverpool news and gossip as former Reds star Emre Can has made an admission about his time at Anfield after helping Borussia Dortmund reach the Champions League final
Former Liverpool star Emre Can made an "emotional" message after helping guide Borussia Dortmund to the Champions League final.
The 30-year-old spent four years with Liverpool from 2014-18 after arriving from Bayer Leverkusen. He went on to sign for Juventus as a free agent, with his final game for the Reds coming as a substitute in the 2018 Champions League final defeat to Real Madrid. "It’s very different, I would say, because when I was with Bayern in the final I didn’t play, I was a young guy," Can told CBS Sports. "I was in the squad but I didn’t play. With Liverpool I was a long time injured, I didn’t play the quarter-final or semi-final.
