End of 2022 will be rainy in parts of Bicol, Visayas, Mindanao due to LPA

Rains are seen to affect different parts of Bicol Region, Palawan, Visayas, and northern Mindanao due to the low pressure area inside the Philippine area of responsibility, state meteorologists said. | GabrielLaluINQ

“Itong low pressure area na ito ay nanatiling mababa ang tsansa na maging bagyo sa susunod na 24 oras. Pero regardless kung magiging bagyo man ito o hindi, mag-ingat pa rin tayo dahil magdadala pa rin ito ng mga pag-ulan,” weather forecaster Veronica Torres said.

Meanwhile, the northeast monsoon or amihan would still bring lower temperatures over the northern portions of Luzon, like Cagayan Valley, the Cordillera Administrative Region, and Ilocos Region. As a result, cloudy skies and occasional rains may be experienced in these areas, including Aurora and Quezon provinces.
