It could mean the capital gets through the winter without any significant snowfall although forecasters say they weather for February still looks unpredictable.Before the weekend, there’s expected to be a north-south divide weather-wise.A Met Office weather warning has been issued for overnight until 2am on Thursday morning, meaning some disruption to transport is likely.
In the south it will gradually be getting warmer ahead of the weekend although there may also be some light rain.Alex Deakin, a meteorologist at the Met Office, said: ‘The weather is looking livelier – more changeable – over the next week or so.
