Enda McGinley has described his clubmate Malachy O’Rourke’s appointment as Tyrone manager as both “stunning” and “brave”.

“I played along with Malachy many moons ago for the club, back in the ‘90s. He’s been living in Ballygawley for, gosh, it has to be 30-plus years so I would count him as an honorary Tyrone man and his right-hand man in terms of Ryan Porter is an absolute Tyrone man so his set up is Tyrone and Malachy has a good bit of Tyrone in him.
