Households can save on their fuel bills by working out how much each appliance that they use costs them.
Small adjustments on how long appliances are used could also help households boost their savings this winter. Currently energy prices are capped, with an average household paying £2,500 a year, but this is set to rise to £3,000in April of 2023 Gareth Kloet, energy expert at Go Compare, said: "If you’re thinking of making any significant changes to your house, such as installing solar panels, you should always inform your insurance provider beforehand.
