Energy drink mogul Storey claims he's made 'formal legal offer' to buy Sunderland and boasts of 'blue chip backers'
Black Cats owner Stewart Donald,William Storey is turning his sights towards football after ending his involvement with Formula 1He said: “I am limited in what I can say due to NDA , but I can confirm that I have made a formal legal offer for Sunderland.
"I have significant funding from blue chip backers. Sunderland are a giant of English football & their fans deserve a team to reflect that stature.”Rich Energy has dabbled in F1 having failed in an attempt to save the Force India team from administration.
