Climate Change and Energy Minister Chris Bowen took aim at Shadow Minister Ted O’Brien for suggesting there was no evidence Labor’s energy caps were responsible for reduced energy prices.

“This creates considerable mystery, what was it, was it the coronation … was it the final episode of Succession perhaps,” Mr Bowen said during parliamentary Question Time on Tuesday.

“What was it that could have got energy prices down over the last six months … what possibly could it have been – perhaps it was the intervention designed to do just that.”
