Tens of thousands of punters have turned the capital red and white, packing into pubs and taking over some of the city's most iconic areas.
England fans have been left in despair following a 2-1 victory for Spain secured in the final four minutes by substitute Mikel Oyarzabal.
Fraser Mullen, 40, from Redhill in Surrey, said: 'It didn't feel like the same old England. We just came up against a better team.'It doesn't feel as bad as it has in the past. The talent is there. They just need to do a bit more next time.
