England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford is likely to escape prosecution for pub brawl
Cops have been to see him but he has decided not to press charges after the £30m Everton stopper apologised.
The Sun revealed how Pickford, 25, had been boozing in Sunderland as he watched his home town side lose a Wembley final to Portsmouth on Sunday. At one stage locals poked fun at him by calling him “butter fingers” as he drank at the Ps and Qs bar in Sunderland.insulted his fiancee Megan Davison, 22Video footage shows Pickford at the centre of a crowd of people outside the bar with Andy’s arm around his neck as he tries to calm him down.
He wasn’t working that night as he was out with friends celebrating his 41st birthday but he still stepped in to try and calm things down – and ended up with a black eye.
