Gareth Southgate has confirmed his 26-man squad for the upcoming European Championship with some shock calls made.Regulars Jordan Pickford, Luke Shaw, John Stones, Kieran Trippier, Kyle Walker, Declan Rice, Jude Bellingham, Phil Foden and Harry Kane will represent England once again this summer.
Meanwhile, England newbies Ezri Konsa, Kobbie Mainoo, Cole Palmer, Jarrod Bowen and Ollie Watkins have also been selected following their respective impressive seasons with their clubs.Fellow Reds star Trent Alexander-Arnold will also be on the plane after missing out on Euro 2020 due to injury.This is the first time Southgate has named three no. 9s in a squad for a major tournament.
The Three Lions face Serbia in their opening game of the tournamnt on Sunday June 16, with kick-off set for 20:00.
