Enterprise Mayor William E. Cooper recognized those “ready to provide lifesaving care to those in need, 24 hours a day” on Monday.

In recognition, Cooper proclaimed May 19-25, 2024 as ‘Emergency Medical Services Week,’ for those who work in the EMS field. “Access to quality emergency care dramatically improves the survival and recovery rate of those who experience sudden illness or injury,” Cooper said in a statement. “It is appropriate to recognize the value and the accomplishments of emergency medical services.”
Mayor Cooper celebrated the men and women in the EMS field, saying those serving with Enterprise Fire Department and Enterprise Rescue engaged in thousands of hours of specialized training and continuing education to enhance their lifesaving skills.and receive the latest local news and weather straight to your email every morning.
