See what was dropped from a Huey Helicopter over the Enterprise Country Club Thursday evening.

Michelle Mann Billed as a family-friendly, community-wide fundraiser, the Enterprise Rotary Club’s Second Annual Golf Ball Drop Thursday was a success.

This was the second year the Enterprise Rotary Club has held the unique fundraiser. It was an idea initiated last year by then-Enterprise Rotary Club President Kim Frazier, who served as chairman of the fundraiser this year. Participants had the opportunity to buy a numbered golf ball for $10, or 12 golf balls for $100 up until the 5:45 p.m. deadline, after which the buckets of golf balls were loaded onto a Friends of Army Aviation Huey helicopter that had landed on the driving range.
