Cheap as chips!
An average journey from Halifax in West Yorkshire to Blackpool seafront is around an hour and a half by car. But one Reddit user set off on a far more difficult- and time-consuming to route to soak in the sun on the Fylde coast.
The Reddit post, which was uploaded to popular subreddit thread 'Casual UK' was accompanied by an image of a blue skied, sun-socked North Pier, looking towards the iconic Blackpool Tower, with Central Pier and the promenade in the distance. Fellow Reddit users flooded the post, which has been upvoted 2.4k times, with comments.They ranged from people joining about the comparisons between Blackpool and the Eiffel Tower and also commending BottleGoblin for their epic effort.
