Epic Games has brought back several rare Fortnite skins, including the popular Master Chief skin. However, the company has sparked controversy by removing the Matte Black style previously available for Master Chief owners who played on Xbox Series X|S. The style is now limited to original owners who purchased the skin and played on the console before December 2024, causing backlash from new players.
Over the past few days, Epic Games has brought back many rare Fortnite skins. From Master Chief to Renegade Raider, players can now unlock some of the cosmetics that were previously vaulted for years. Unfortunately, some of these don’t come with additional styles that were previously available. Due to this, Epic is now involved in another controversy. Previously, players who purchased Master Chief were able to unlock an additional black style for it. However, this is no longer the case.
