Man United have a massive fight on their hands this weekend when they take on Manchester City in the first derby of the season.
You could hardly call it vintage, convincing or even good but Manchester United - just about - managed to scrape three successive wins together on Tuesday night.
The weekend brings with it a much tougher opponent than Brentford, Sheffield United or FC Copenhagen. It brings the best team on the planet and United's fierce rivals. It brings Manchester City. United were pretty listless in the opening 45 minutes against the visiting Danes on Tuesday night. They were sloppy on the ball and unable to impose themselves, while Copenhagen again proved themselves to be no pushovers and took the game to the hosts.
