Former Man United coach Rene Meulensteen has offered to help out Ruud van Nistelrooy if he is appointed as Erik ten Hag's successor in the event the club's head coach is sacked. Meulensteen was an assistant to Sir Alex Fergiuson and will know Van Nistelrooy well. He's now offered to come back to Old Trafford - but only if he feels he can make a difference.
