Feyenoord are reportedly interested in bringing Erik ten Hag back to management after dismissing Brian Priske. Ten Hag's former assistant at Manchester United, Rene Hake, is also a contender for a coaching position at Feyenoord.
Erik ten Hag might be offered a return to the managerial world just four months after leaving Manchester United . According to reports from The Sun, Dutch club Feyenoord are eager to bring Ten Hag on board as their new coach following the dismissal of Brian Priske on Monday. Priske's departure comes after a series of disappointing results that have left Feyenoord trailing their rivals by 12 points in the league standings.
Adding to the speculation, it is also suggested that Ten Hag's former assistant at Manchester United, Rene Hake, is being considered as a potential candidate for the No.2 position at Feyenoord. During his time at Manchester United, Ten Hag achieved success by winning both the Carabao Cup and the FA Cup. However, his tenure was ultimately cut short due to underwhelming performances in the Champions League and the Premier League.Acknowledging the club's need for a new direction, Feyenoord's director, Dennis te Kloese, stated: 'We are glad that Pascal has shown himself ready to step in on a temporary basis. I have spoken to many players and staff, and everyone realizes that we still have a great deal to compete for.' Prior to his stint with Manchester United, Ten Hag gained valuable experience in Dutch football by managing Ajax, Utrecht, and Go Ahead Eagles
