Escape To The Chateau’s Dick and Angel ‘suspend wedding business’ after Channel 4 axe
Escape To The Chateau's Dick and Angel Strawbridge have suspended their wedding business, following Channel 4's announcement that they would be cutting ties with the couple.
The pair – who put their famous chateau up for sale in December – appear to have since suspended their wedding business, with a statement on the couple's website currently reading: "We are currently on a two-year weddings ‘catch-up’, we will reopen enquiries as soon as we can!" Production company Two Rivers Media, who produced the final five series of Escape to the Chateau, have also severed ties with the couple, telling the publication: "We can confirm that we will no longer work with Dick and Angel and cannot comment further at the moment."
A source who had worked with the Strawbridges, has since told the Daily Mail that the couple were not quite as nice as their TV personas made them appear.
