Escape to the Country's Nicki Chapman has described being diagnosed with a brain tumour as "the most frightening experience of her life". The 57 year old presenter opens up about her harrowing ordeal in her heartfelt new memoir So Tell Me What You Want, which is on sale now.
Nicki has opened up about her health woes and how it transformed her outlook on life, revealing, "The only thing it really made me do is have a greater sense of gratitude. I had a brain tumour. I didn't have brain cancer, but my surgeon and the NHS had that conversation with me. I made my will. You know, nothing is given and it does give you an appreciation.", reports the Express.
She dished on the mayhem of managing the Spice Girls, saying, "Looking after the Spice Girls was like herding cats, trying to keep them all together. They all had something, there wasn't a weak one in the band."
