'Children have been beaten up and threatened with knives in the street'
Residents are 'living in fear' on a Fallowfield estate which has been plagued by anti-social behaviour, an MP has claimed.
Mr Khan, who penned the letter with other local councillors, claims children have been 'beaten up' and 'threatened with knives in the street'. He also claimed there are issues with congested parking, with 'regular' issues for drivers picking up and dropping off children at local St Kentigern's Primary School.
Mr Khan also said fly-tipping is an issue on the estate, off Yew Tree Road, and a 'build up of waste' in the front gardens of properties. Sharing the letter publicly on social media, Mr Khan said: "Anti-social behaviour has been a long standing problem on the estate, with some residents telling us they live in fear.
