Las acusaciones fueron formuladas en conferencia de prensa por Daniel Stenling, jefe de la unidad de contraespionaje de la agencia conocida por las siglas SAPO, a raíz de una serie de sucesos ocurridos a principios de año.
Stenling dijo, sin ofrecer detalles concretos ni pruebas que respalden su afirmación, que la agencia “puede establecer que hay redes criminales en Suecia que Irán utiliza como agentes”.
