Bringing your dog to work, happy hour on Fridays, wellbeing initiatives, and Secret Santa games in the run-up to Christmas – the office is not what it used to be.

But this is where office workers get it wrong – at least, according to etiquette expert Jackie Vernon-Thompson.She has revealed the correct behaviour for the workplace includes dressing well, being early, and not using ‘Mrs or Miss’ . Jackie says ways of behaving correctly at work also include not using your phone, social media – or addressing your boss by their first name.‘Understand the hierarchy and respect the levels,’ she stressed.
