THE European Union has set up a cunning “trap” to snare the UK in trade negotiations after Brexit, Nigel Farage has warned.

The Brexit Party leader said Eurocrats will use a key clause in the Prime Minister’s Withdrawal Agreement to their advantage, thus backing Britain into a corner. He cited Article 184 of the deal which states that both parties, Brussels and the EU, must “use their best endeavours, in good faith” to have a future trade agreement wrapped up six months before the end of the transition period in December 2020.
