Eurocamp offers wet-and-wild fun for all the family in the south of France — and it won't break the bank

And somehow it smells even better when you have strolled through a leafy campsite to the on-site bakery to stock up on baguettes and croissants..It was the first day of our first visit to the South of France on what was our first — but will definitely not be our last — Eurocamp experience.

Just a short drive in our hire car from Perpignan Airport, we arrived at Le Brasilia in Canet-Plage to a friendly welcome and an easy check-in.The big decked area out front had a table and chairs, a BBQ and sun loungers, with two canopy sails providing some shade.Our writer's son never tired of the child-friendly lagoons and waterslides

I bombed into the pool only to have the lifeguard blowing his whistle at me — not for bombing but for my attire. Gents, the Speedos rule is strictly enforced here. But luckily for me there is no photographic evidence!
