Eurovision week kicks off today and here's all you need to know as the UK's Mae Muller takes on the tough competition
Last year's winner, Ukraine, unfortunately couldn't handle the hosting duties due to the ongoing war.
When and where is the grand final? The Eurovision Song Contest 2023 grand final takes place on Saturday, 13 May. Mae had a chart-topping hit in 2021 with Better Days and supported Little Mix during their 2019 tour. Ukraine, last year's winner, is third favorite with TVORCHI's Heart of Steel, hoping to secure Ukraine's fourth Eurovision title.
Other big events this week In addition to the Semi-Finals and Finals, there's a plethora of Eurovision content available to enjoy. BBC Radio 2 will cover the build-up to Eurovision, with Rylan and Scott Mills providing live commentary of the Grand Final.
