Evacuations remain in place as fire crews work to put out the Boulder View Fire

As of Friday afternoon, the fire burned 3,200 acres with 0% containment in sight.

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — For much of Friday, the Boulder View Fire, burning northeast of Scottsdale, has remained at 3,200 acres and remained 0% contained.

“Crap. this is serious," Nelson told 12 News recalling her reaction to the overnight wake-up call ordering evacuations.
