‘Even if you’re not seeing anyone you’re still seeing yourself’
Speaking from her own experience with remote working, she added: ‘As a counselor during these uncertain times, I’m working solely online so could easily get away with counseling in my joggers but I don’t; dressing for my role retains a sense of purpose and self-confidence which can be sorely undermined for all of us during self-isolation.’
Beverley also emphasised the importance of dressing to impress the one person who will be seeing you regardless of self-isolation – yourself. ‘Even if you’re not seeing anyone you’re still seeing yourself,’ she said, ‘So make each time you glance in the mirror a positive one and smile at the fact you make lockdown look good!’
