Katrine Veje has left the club following the expiration of her contract - and the Blues now desperately need to bolster their backline
Everton have confirmed defender Katrine Veje has left the club following the expiration of her contract. The 33-year-old joined the Blues from FC Rosengard in the summer of 2022 and made 27 Women's Super League appearances across her two seasons at Walton Hall Park . An experienced Denmark international, Veje made her competitive debut for the Everton in September 2022 against West Ham United in the opening game of the WSL season.
Confirming Veje's departure on Friday, a club spokesperson said: 'Everyone at Everton would like to thank Katrine for her commitment to the club and we wish her the very best for the future.
