Everton fans have taken to social media to voice their frustrations regarding Sean Dyche’s recent comments on forward Iliman Ndiaye.
Speaking in his press conference ahead of their Premier League clash with Brentford on Saturday , the 53-year-old said,Ndiaye, 24, played 33 games for Sheffield United as an attacking midfielder, scoring 14 goals and providing four assists before moving to Marseille where he largely played as a striker or a winger.
He has since played all of his games at Everton as a left-winger, where he has managed to score three goals across all competitions for the club. The Merseyside club are in desperate need of a fresh approach, sitting just three points above the relegation zone in 17th and winless in their last three Premier League games.
Convinced that Ndiaye playing in the number 10 role is what the side need, fans took to X, formally known as Twitter, to bemoan Dyche’s comments.sort of sums up with Dyche level of rigidness, Ndiaye is playing well on the left, no one can argue that, but McNeil isn't in the centre. This comment is what gets fans irate. McNeil isn’t a 10 or Doucoure but both play there under Dyche. It’s such poor thinking and management to not even try him
