Former Everton manager David Moyes, who had a successful 11-year spell at the club, is considered a strong candidate. Other names in the frame include Brentford boss Thomas Frank, Nottingham Forest's Steve Cooper, former England manager Gareth Southgate, Ajax and Manchester United legend Erik ten Hag, and Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri.
