Former Everton star Wayne Rooney is set to have a busy summer ahead of him
From unemployed to two jobs at once. Wayne Rooney is going to find himself in uncharted territory this summer, as he plans to be a TV pundit in Germany and a football manager on the South Coast of England.
But that has not been the case, and Rooney now finds himself preparing for the start of the Championship. He replaces fellow Scouser Ian Foster, who was sacked by Plymouth toward the end of the season. Neil Dewsnip is not a name that Blues supporters will be too familiar with but he helped guide generations of Everton youngsters into careers as top-flight footballers at Goodison Park and beyond.
After a spell at the Football Association, Dewsnip is now director of football at Plymouth and was even in caretaker charge towards the end of last season following the sacking of Foster.
