Everton's Amadou Onana was suggested as a potential midfield signing for Newcastle United, who now have a problem to solve after Sandro Tonali's 10-month ban from football for breaches of gambling rules has been ratified by FIFA. Out-of-favour Andre Gomes has also been mentioned in the conversation for potential loan replacements.
There is set to be a tribute to the late Everton chairman Bill Kenwright prior to kick-off as wreaths are laid in the centre circle and and minute's applause takes place.
