Football Insider has been told by sources that Leicester and Southampton are keen to sign Everton striker Tom Cannon before Friday's deadline.
Leicester City and Southampton have turned their attention to signing in-demand Everton striker Tom Cannon,A number of Championship clubs are chasing Cannon’s signature before Friday’s 11pm deadline.
Middlesbrough have already submitted a £4m bid for the 20-year-old Republic of Ireland youth international. Now Leicester and Southampton are exploring moves for Cannon, who had a successful spell on loan at Preston North End last season. Everton are ready to cash in on the striker for the right offer having recently brought in Beto to add to their forward options.
Cannon’s current contract at Goodison Park runs until 2025 after signing a professional deal back in 2021 when he turned 18.
