The Blues plan to honour their former striker on Saturday before the game against Bournemouth in the Premier League

Everton fan group The 1878s have confirmed their plans to pay tribute to Everton striker Kevin Campbell, who died this summer. The organisation have said that cards will be provided to fans on seats in the Park End to hold up prior to kick off in the Blues' fixture against Bournemouth. The tribute will take place on August 31st as ‘Super Kev’s’ family will be in attendance as special guests. The Tifo will honour the Toffees' former number nine.

Campbell made 145 appearances for Everton from 1999 to 2005, scoring 45 goals during his stint at Goodison Park. The striker joined Everton in 1999 on loan from Trabzonspor, when the Blues were battling relegation, Campbell made an instant impact, scoring eight goals in his first nine games to pull the team clear of peril.
