Everton are planning to sell striker Beto this January transfer window to raise funds for a new signing. The club are looking to bring in another striker to solve their goalscoring problems. Beto has struggled for game time this season, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin ahead of him in the pecking order.

Brown explained that Beto’s departure would also free up space in the squad for an incoming signing, with the club eyeing a new striker this month. This is despite the Englishman’s struggles in front of goal – raising questions about Beto’s ability and status in the squad both under Sean Dyche and Moyes.As a result, should the opportunity arise for Everton to make money from his sale, Brown has insisted they will be open to his departure.
