Everton's interest in Dario Osorio is unlikely to derail their move for Jack Grealish this summer. There are other obstacles in the way, though.
David Moyes could add both dangerous wingers ahead of the 2026-27 campaign, though it is understood that any deal with the Danish side will be “difficult” to do due to his current contract.
The 22-year-old, who is seen as a “top young player”, is under contract until the summer of 2030, with Midtjylland wanting a “big fee”. That will not stop the Toffees from targeting both stars, however. Dario Osorio could be a perfect target for Everton this summer Osorio has impressed after moving to Midtjylland in the summer of 2023, notching 23 goals and 14 assists in 100 matches since, including in the Champions League and Europa League.
The Toffees could certainly have an upper hand if they are to secure European football on the final day of the Premier League season, though that has become more unlikely following the defeat to Sunderland. Despite an impressive run of results earlier in the year, Moyes’ side are now winless in six matches, seeing them slip to 12th in the table. Form has dropped significantly since Grealish’s injury.
Grealish is not the only player from Man City being targeted by the Toffees.
