Everton’s former chief Keith Wyness has claimed the club will be ready to sell Amadou Onana this summer in a bid to banish their Financial Fair Play concerns., the 66-year-old – who served as CEO at Goodison Park between 2004 and 2009 and now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs – suggested the 22-year-old is more expendable than the likes of Jarrad Branthwaite or Jordan Pickford.
Onana has made 36 appearances across all competitions for Sean Dyche’s side this term – starting in 29 of those outings.Wyness claimed “two or three players” will need to depart Goodison Park in total if Everton are to comply with the rules.“There is a question of who Everton are going to sell to get rid of the threat of another breach.
