Some passengers could face disruption
Thousands of holidaymakers will fly from Manchester Airport today in search of relaxation. The school holidays may now be over, but as the UK's third-biggest airport, there will still be plenty of people jetting off from the site's three terminals.
But some passengers could face disruption as they look to get their holidays up and running. Airports across the country were affected by the air traffic control glitch last week, causing a number of cancellations and delays. Passengers also faced disruption for a number of days after the issue was resolved. Services are expected to be running more smoothly this week, but there are still delays affecting a number of services at Manchester Airport today .Three flights have been cancelled so far this morning. Dozens more are also expected to take off later than expected, including a number by at least half an hour.
