Unlocked in Chapter Two, the Combat Simulator features an ever-expanding menu of optional battles. Its centerpieces, though, are its summon boss battles.
6 FF7 Rebirth's Odin Is Unfair & Frustrating Chapter 11, Nibel Region In the Final Fantasy series, Odin is portrayed as a formidable warrior atop a stocky steed. His signature move, the devastating cleave Zantetsuken, is likely the most powerful move the FF7 Rebirth party will find themselves on the receiving end of.
Like Phoenix, the Titan boss fight in FF7 Rebirth suffers from a pretty uninspired mechanic, a shield called Earthen Aegis. Titan occasionally surrounds itself with wisps of beige energy, which prevent it from taking damage until the Aegis is destroyed. Once it's down, Titan is more easily pressured and staggered. For all its difficulty, the Titan boss fight relies on a repetitive gimmick, too often seen elsewhere in FF7 Rebirth.
3 FF7 Rebirth's Bahamut Arisen Demands Quick Thinking Cosmo Canyon, Chapter 10 Close Bahamut Arisen is an ascended, ultra-powerful form of the classic Bahamut summon from earlier Final Fantasy games. In FF7 Rebirth, it's especially weak to Synergy Skills, which will build its stagger bar quickly and destroy the damaging orbs it summons throughout the arena. However, the most interesting aspect of Bahamut Arisen's boss fight is its hidden timer.
