Property prices are becoming cheaper in many parts of the region
House prices are continuing to fall across Greater Manchester, which is good news for first-time buyers but not-so-great for sellers. New Land Registry data retrieved by the Manchester Evening News has now revealed that property prices fell across several parts of the region over the last year.
Property prices fell the most in the M15 postcode area, which covers Hulme, with the average cost of a home dropping more than anywhere else in our region. Homes in the area sold for an average of £251,936 this month, which had gone down by 21 percent in the last 12 months. Below is every postcode area across Greater Manchester where you can find house prices falling, as well as the average price paid and what percentage they have fallen by over the last year.
