Every speed camera location in Scotland revealed as drivers warned of over 500 on roads
Scots motorists are being urged to slow down after new data revealed just how many speed cameras are on the country's roads.
But findings also show that speed cameras are located on rural roads, meaning drivers could get nabbed for speeding in even the most remote of locations. If caught, motorists could be slapped with a minimum fine of £100 and three penalty points. Glasgow has more speed cameras than any other Scottish location, with 72 across the city. Meanwhile, Edinburgh is comparatively camera free with only 34 located in the greater urban area.
Top Trending Stories Today Gary Digva, founder of Road Angel said: "Anyone thinking they can get away with speeding in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland needs to think again as the data shows they need to be aware of mobile speed cameras in even the most remote spots.
