Police are studying surveillance footage from LifeCare Ambulance, as well as the Lorain Metropolitan Housing Authority, in the death of Carol Pitzer.CLEVELAND, Ohio – An Elyria grandmother died when an ambulance struck her in the parking lot of an apartment complex, authorities said.
The paramedics drove off, not noticing that they had hit Pitzer until residents flagged them down, police said. “The final report has yet to be completed as I am still working on speaking to all parties involved, as well as obtaining information from the coroner’s office,” Varga said in an email.
